The price you see on a booking site already carries that platform's commission, which is usually between 15% and 20% of the room rate. The hotel never sees that share. When we approach the property directly for your specific dates, that commission becomes room for a better price — especially on midweek nights, longer stays and multi-room bookings where the hotel would rather fill rooms than hold rates.
We also ask for the things a listing page cannot give you: a late checkout, breakfast added in, a higher floor, an early check-in after an overnight train. Because a human is speaking to the property, those requests are agreed before you pay rather than left as a note on a booking that nobody reads. You get one final all-inclusive figure with GST shown, and you either take it or you don't.

How does TripDnD get a cheaper hotel rate?
We work with hotels directly rather than reselling an online travel agency's inventory. Because the property saves the 15-20% commission it would otherwise pay a booking site, it can release a better nett rate to us, and we pass most of that difference on to you.
Does it cost anything to ask for a rate?
No. Sending a rate request is free and there is no obligation. You only pay if the price we come back with is one you want to take, and we never add a separate booking fee on top of the quoted amount.
How long does a rate request take?
Most requests are answered the same day, and usually within 15 to 30 minutes during working hours in India. Requests sent late at night or for hotels in remote areas can take until the next morning.
Which hotels can you negotiate?
Any hotel, resort, homestay or camp in India. You can name the property, paste a link from any booking site, or send a screenshot of the price you have already found so we know what to beat.
Is the price you quote inclusive of GST?
Yes. Every rate we send is all-inclusive, with hotel GST shown as its own line, so the number you accept is the number you pay. There are no taxes or service charges revealed at the last step.
What if you cannot beat the price I found?
We tell you plainly and you are free to book wherever you found the cheaper rate. We would rather say so than push a rate that is not actually better for you.
Do I have to sign in to send a request?
Yes, and it takes only a few seconds with a one-time password. Signing in ties every request to your account so you can track its status, see the negotiated rate and return to it later.
Can you handle multiple rooms or a group booking?
Yes. Group and multi-room stays are where direct negotiation helps most, because hotels price blocks of rooms very differently from single reservations. Mention the number of rooms and travellers in your request.
