How to reach Cabo de Rama Fort

Nearest Airport: Manohar International Airport (GOX), Mopa (approx. 70–80 km) or Goa International Airport (GOI), Dabolim (approx. 50–55 km). Dabolim is generally the more convenient airport for reaching South Goa. Nearest Railway Station: Madgaon (Margao) Railway Station (approx. 35–40 km). It is the most convenient major railway station for reaching Cabo de Rama and is well connected to several major Indian cities. By Road: From Madgaon, drive south towards Chinchinim → Cuncolim → Quepem → Cabo de Rama. From Dabolim Airport, travel via Margao and then continue towards the fort. Taxis, rental cars, and two-wheelers are convenient options for exploring South Goa. By Bus: Buses operate between major South Goa towns and nearby villages, but a taxi, rental car, or scooter is generally more convenient for reaching the fort directly. Best time to visit

November–February: Pleasant, dry weather with comfortable temperatures, making it the best season for exploring the fort and enjoying coastal views.
