Bharmour is a small town in Chamba district that once served as the capital of the old Chamba kingdom, and today is best known as the base for the Manimahesh Kailash pilgrimage. Its Chaurasi Temple Complex, a cluster of ancient shrines dedicated to Shiva and other deities, reflects centuries of temple architecture and remains an active site of worship. The town's remoteness — with no direct airport or railway link — has kept it well outside the mainstream Himachal circuit.
