Phawngpui

Phawngpui, also called the Blue Mountain, rises to 2,157 meters in southeastern Mizoram, the state's highest peak and centerpiece of Phawngpui National Park. The summit offers a genuinely rare geographic vantage point — on clear days, parts of India, Myanmar, and Bangladesh are all visible simultaneously from a single viewpoint — while the park protects rare orchids and plant species found in few other locations, alongside modest wildlife including the endangered mithun, a semi-domesticated bovine species significant to tribal culture across the wider Northeast.
